Phoenix Family Resources Hosts Community Listening Session
On June 24, 2026, Phoenix Family Resources welcomed community members and partners to a listening session at the campus in New Castle.
Participants shared the challenges people face while seeking recovery and offered ideas for building stronger support.
The conversation highlighted needs including dental care, emergency lodging, parent housing, transportation, peer support, GED and workforce training, and help with costs such as training stipends and testing fees. Attendees also raised the importance of youth recovery programs and emergency pet care for people entering residential treatment.
We are grateful to everyone who shared their experiences and ideas. Listening to people with firsthand knowledge helps shape practical, compassionate responses that meet our community’s needs.
